Also known as vaginal rejuvenation. It is the procedure designed to restore the tone lost during childbirth or aging, in order to change the appearance of the vagina, whether for aesthetic reasons or not.
It is a plastic surgery surgery that comes to solve the problem of hypertrophy of the labia minora. Performed by plastic surgeons, labiaplasty consists of the reduction and remodeling of the labia minora together with the adjacent structures, such as the area around the clitoris, pubis and labia majora, in such a way that it allows to rejuvenate and repair said genital malformation.
It is done by applying infiltrations of fat extracted from another area of the patient's own body (generally the pubis) or of resorbable products such as hyaluronic acid in the labia majora to rejuvenate them and give them a more youthful appearance.
