Acne
El acne it is a multifactorial process in which three circumstances concur:
- High secretion of sebaceous glands due to androgenic stimulation
- Comedone formation
- Infection of the glands by a bacterium (Propionibacterium Acnes)
Acne takes the form of both inflammatory and non-inflammatory rashes. Acne lesions are commonly known as pimples, blemishes, blackheads, pimples, or just acne and in some cases it can cause scarring.
En CSE | Clínica Salud Estética our specialists in dermatological facials, we have designed a treatment for acne, totally personalized, with visible results from the first session.
Acne
Each degree of acne requires a specific treatment and a complete clinical history to determine the possible factors that may influence its evolution, so that prior to any treatment a medical assessment of the problem is made.
Possible therapies include the following treatments:
- Sequential facial hygiene, specific for acne skin
- Peeling of different intensity to eliminate clogging pores and regulate fat production
- Treatment with Photodynamic Therapy
- Specific treatment to use at home
We use blue light to activate photosensitizers administered externally three hours before treatment, in cream with ALA (d-amino levulinic acid), forming free radicals that destroy the bacteria involved in acne.
Usually 2 weekly sessions are performed during a period between 4 and 8 weeks.
If the acne to be treated is pustular or rosacea type, the violet light that results from the combination of red light (anti-inflammatory) and blue light (bactericidal) will be applied. It is considered that the 50% of the acnes are sensitive to improve with this light.
Usually a photosensitizing agent is used, the "Light Amplifyer".
It is possible to minimize and repair the sequels left by acne with combined treatments of dermal regeneration and elimination of superficial layers, which include:
- Chemical exfoliation through Peeling sequenced of TCA
- Application of Micro-needling to trigger the cutaneous regeneration process
- Mesotherapy with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), which helps repair "wounds" caused by the pustular cystic process of severe acne
