Tensioning threads
The Tension threads of Polidioxanone (PDO) are inserted at the subcutaneous level to provide firmness and counteract the flaccidity of the skin, since once inserted, they will stimulate the formation of collagen I and III. This causes the "detached" skin to attach to the lower muscular planes.
This technique began to be applied years ago, becoming the best answer to skin rejuvenation. It is a treatment with close to 100% success in all cases. Its immediacy, results and minimally invasive protocol are the reasons why it has a spectacular success around the world.
Tensioning threads
The threads are placed between the skin and the muscle, obtaining its tensor effect as the collagen and elastin that occurs unite both areas.
They are specially indicated to adapt the skin to the muscle in:
- Abdomen
- Buttocks
- Inner side of the thighs
- Internal side of the arms
The benefits of this treatment are appreciable at 3 weeks, when collagen and elastin have formed.
The duration of the effects can reach between 1 and 2 years, depending on the age and our habits, since the aging process does not slow down.
